What is iwave ??

IWAVE is a concept in which a typical radio producer such as an FM radio station, can, at relatively low cost, produce his own programs and re-transmit them where ever he wants and is authorized to broadcast.
Typically a small FM station can almost instantaneously become a world wide station simply by becoming an iWAVE affiliate and start re-transmitting his programs almost anywhere in the world (*).

(*) Be aware that such re-transmissions must obey regulations which vary from country to country.

Who is the target market ??

The typical target market is third world countries where the Central Government has its own radio stations and wants to re-transmit to all country in FM at low costs… However, anyone with the necessary permissions to broadcast is a potential affiliate.

What conditions do you need to become an iWAVE affiliate ??

There are two types of conditions to be one iWAVE affiliate:

a)- Legal

1.) Any affiliate needs to have permission to broadcast in FM in the areas he wishes to cover.
2.) To have the necessary legal permissions where music rights are concerned.

b)- Phisical

To have capacity of producing "radio programs" in hardware
To have capacity of producing "radio programs" in personal
To have the necessary money to invest

What investment do you need to make ??

Note:: iWAVE assumes that the affiliate already has the capacity to produce radio programs… If this capacity does not exist, then we can supply all necessary equipment and training in these areas.

The necessary investment to become an affiliate is:

• The capacity of paying 64 Kbits of back bone to a public operator of the internet backbone. Such value is typically USD 5.000 per month depending on the country.
• The capacity of paying the downstream of 64 Kbits per month from a satellite to the area that the affiliate wishes to cover. Such value is around USD 4.500 per month depending as well on the country.
• A minimum of USD 30.000 per each site that the affiliate wishes to cover. This price includes one Satelite dish, one receiver, one special modem, one CCA FM transmitter of 100 watts, one UPS, one batch of batteries, one rack, one mast of 12 meters and solar panel kit for continuous running (*).
